Dira,Oki,and Amel were happy. They had a plan to visit Grandma Yus and Grandpa Zainul in Bukittinggi. "We should give something for Grandma and Grandpa,"" Dira said. "Yes. But,what is it?" Oki asked. Dira was quiet . She was thinking seriously.
"I know," Amel said. "Let's make a pencil case from cardboard and ribbons. Grandma can sell it at her souvenir store." "Oh,no. We should give something to Grandma and Grandpa. Not to Grandma's store,Oki disagree" Oki disagreed. Oki smiled. "How if we give them a cooking book,""Oki said. "So Grandpa Zainul will know recipes of all dishes." "Hm.." Dira continued slowly, "Grandpa is a great cook. I don't think he needs a cooking book." "What should we give them?"  Amel asked. She was a bit desperate.
"I have one idea,"Dira said. "Grandma and Grandpa love watching the stars. How if give them a telescope." Oki and Amel looked each other. They did not believe what they heard. Then Oki said "I don't have enough money to buy the telescope." "Neither do I", Amel added .
Dira , Oki , and Amel told their parents that they could not decide on the present for their grandparents. They asked their parents' opinion. Ftaher advised them to go to a department store to find ideas.
At the department store, Dira,Oki , and Amel saw beautiful high heel shoes. They thought the shous would be aperfect gift for Grandma. Father said, "Grandma is old. She does not need those shoes." Then Dira , Oki, and Amel saw leather briefcases . They thought the briefcase would be a perfect gift for Grandpa. Fther said, "Grandpa doesn't need that briefcase."
Amel pointed to the blue cardigan worn by a mannequin . "It is beautiful, isn't it?" Amel whispered. Dira,Oki,and Father looked at the cardigan. "Let's give them cardigans," Dira suggested. They agreed.
Dira asked the shop assistant, "I'd like to buy two cardigans." The shop assistant asked,"For you?" "No. For my grandparents," Dira answered.
The shop assistant took some cardigans from the shelves. They were colorful "How about this cardigan?" she asked. The shop assistant was holding an orange cardigan.
"How much is it?" Oki asked. "It is seventy thousand rupiahs each," the shop assistant replied. Father nodded. "The price is reasonable," he whispered.
Dira,Oki,and Amel choose the suitable colors. They took the navy blue cardigan for Grandpa and the olive green cardigan for Grandma. Father helped them choose the sizes. They paid at the cashier and brought them to the gift-wrap counter. Then whey went out from the department store with presents for Grandma and Grandpa wrapped nicely.
